Today is our second day serving at the church and building the home. Everybody has put in 110% effort into serving these people. Even though we came to serve I feel like these people that God has told me to meet have impacted me instead. This trip has been very different from the other trips I have been on, because I have learned to rely on God more in situations and have learned to take up my cross daily. I also learned to be more grateful and accept that things can not always go my way. In tough times I have stopped for a few seconds and ask God to take me on his path and show me what I can do to enhance his kingdom. This week speakers have made one point very clear, to MAKE disciples, but to do it in Gods fashion. The kids at the church I am serving has showed me to be more appreciative, one child with down syndrome has hugged me and even though he can't talk very well he keeps on giving me a smile. He never is sad or upset and is always up for a free hug. While we were building the women's rehab center, we had to take a few measurements over and over again. I was getting really frustrated but I asked God to calm me and remind me that this trip is not about me but about Him. Everyday he has been growing me and stretching me in ways unimaginable. I can't wait to tell all of you personally how much He has impacted my life and give my family a huge hug. But for now keep on praying for our whole team so that we can have the energy to push through the rest of the week.
