We are ready for takeoff! Ironically we are on the Alaska "Make a Wish" plane. As we go on the plane, the song "a whole new world" was on. Appropriate on so many levels.

We are in the USA! After a extremely long border crossing we are on our way to San Diego.

The line is the longest we've ever waited in...but we've always had good "luck". Hopefully will be only 1 hour...equally long line down the hill.

Students of the week

This week we had amazing students. As i talked to leaders and students, two names, Andy and Devon, came up numerous times. They both were weeklong examples to us as they served hard and were great leaders and encouragers. Thanks to both of them; they were a blessing.


Devon:This has been a great week but I am super sad to leave. It will be hard to not come back next year! But I'm glad my last year was a great one!

Andy:I am so glad that I got to be apart of this trip. God has spoken to me in so many different ways. I can't wait to come again soon!

Headed home

Amazing Leaders

This week could not have happened without the amazing adult leaders that came on this trip. I am indebted to them for their sacrifice, hard work and selflessness. Not only did they do all the work and ministry but they also led family groups and gave direction to the group. Please make sure to thank them when we return home for their ministry to your kids.

Worship team leads Rancho worship

It was an early morning for the worship team as they led the morning worship for Rancho. They were great worshipers and did an amazing job leading two songs in Spanish.

Last Day

Well, here we are. In a little more than 12 hours we will be reunited with our families and this years trip to Rancho will be finished. It would take to long to recall all the amazing ministry and testimonies of the week, but I can say God is so good! He has directed our path and this team has worked together for the glory of God. We can't wait to begin to share with you face to face!

Final Campfire

Tonight we had our last time of worship and sharing around the fire. The question that we answered was "when I get home I am going to...". This question is a action plan of what God has been teaching us personally through the week. The realization of home is before us and many students and leaders shared what God is calling them to do.

Emily and Scott were recognized today for their boldness and hardwork. They also demonstrated care for others.

Andrew and Alysa did an amazing job on Tuesday with construction, the evangelism trailer and being great team members! We didn't get to announce it until campfire tonight due to our late arrival last night.

Final team ministry at Rancho Daycare

We finished up our Rancho ministry at the daycare. What a blast. Lots if playing and hanging around kids giving them personal time.

Working hard

The whole team is drained physically. Each shovel lift and wheelbarrow haul is taking a load. However the team is working so hard with what little energy they have and having a heart of joy as they serve.

Last Full Day

Today is Wednesday and that means its our last complete day here. We will be doing concrete (big surprise) and working with the daycare kids in the afternoon. Please pray for stamina, boldness, teamwork and grace for each other as everyone is tired and sore from a long week. Pray we finish strong.

Message from Pastor Steve

Hey moms, dads, and other family! I just spent 2 days with your kids down here in Mexico and I am so proud of these young men and women. They are working hard together as a team doing amazing things for Jesus. Last night they ministered to about 150 people in the park with drama, music, puppets and prayer. Wow! It brought tears to my eyes. I wish you were here. Everyone of them are doing fantastic.

Trailer ministry recap

We had a great night doing ministry on the trailer. We Passed out flyers in the surrounding streets and welcomed many families as they came. Our team showed love and care as they played, did dramas, puppets, music and then prayed for the people as they came forward.

We have pulled into a neighborhood and started a program for the family. We are doing music, puppets, drama and games. Please pray for lives changed.

We are meeting with Jimmy and Genea Horner who run Rancho and they are telling us about the amazing story.

Tuesday morning at Rancho

As the days roll on it's harder to roll out of bed but the team is doing great. We worshiped and had devotions and then headed to work.


They worked so hard today making and pouring concrete for a retaining wall footing.

Scott and Chris were able to help them set up some computers for the offices and school.

Monday students of the day

Emilie and Blake were amazing today. Emilie prayed for people in a powerful way on the water ministry and Blake helped a old cripple man who fell on the train tracks. They were both amazing examples to the team.

Pastors Steve and Corey surprise visit

We were surprised tonight with a visit from our Senior Pastor Steve and Missions Pastor Corey! What a blessing and morale boost to our team. They will be with us until Wednesday morning.

Afternoon ministry

We broke into two groups for ministry this afternoon. The 7th and 8th graders stayed at Rancho and did some construction work.


The 9th graders went on a ministry to deliver water and pray with people in a community close to Rancho.

Hey everybody! This is Miranda(: God has been working in my heart a lot already this week and it's only half over! I haven't been afraid to do things I normally am. For example: I got up and prayed in front of everybody and had some conversations with the children. I was even willing to share my testimony. Devin and Miranda were our two students who went above and beyond as a teammate today! Way to go!

Leader testimony from Eric

Hola from Erico Kragerud. Today we changed things up a bit and had a half day at Playa Rosarita (the beach). We rented a large tent and furniture, swam in the icy surf, ate tacos from a beach cart, and fought off the vendors. We also had a chance to buy fine quality merchandise at the local tourist market. All of the students were closely supervised and were very safe. The weather was perfect and so were the students. Starting at 3:00pm we will be doing a new mission adventure. We will be giving out free water in a community.


This is new because God has blessed the Mission with an overabundance. We will be tagging along the water truck and talking, praying, and ministering to the people we in in encounter. We will let you know what happened later. God always has surprises for us so I'm looking forward to the next one! Dios le bendago
